Within the scope of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, we provide technical support to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), through consultancy services in the decision-making process, in the preparation of strategic studies of the air transport sector and in regulatory development. Of particular note is our support in the preparation of studies and proposals on air navigation policy and strategy, in the coordination of the Spanish position before national and international organisations and in the monitoring and implementation of the Single European Sky, as well as the European innovation programme SESAR 3.

Our collaboration with the Civil Secretariat of the Interministerial Commission between Defence and Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (CIDETMA), in the field of Civil-Military coordination for the use of Airspace.

For ENAIRE, the main provider of air navigation and aeronautical information services in Spain, we provide specialised support in the development of systems (definition, specification, testing, commissioning, operation, conformity assessment activities of ATM/AI/ATFM/VoIP systems, etc.), for air traffic management (ATM), aeronautical information service management (AIS) and flow management (ATFCM), as well as voice (VoIP) and data communications.

Isdefe has provided services for the implementation of the Automatic Air Traffic Control System, SAC-TA-iTEC 4.0, the latest version of the COMETA System at various airports and the eTANDEM architecture to facilitate the processing of inter-centre contingencies. In addition, among other activities, it has provided support for the contingency centre (CATS) at Malaga airport, and in the operation of various control towers at different airports.

Our services to Enaire include support for the systems that make up the voice communications infrastructures (VoIP) of airport control centres, air bases and radio sites, as well as support in the management and monitoring of critical infrastructures.

During this period, Isdefe supported the activities of the AEFMP Group (Algeria, Spain, France, Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal) to harmonise the provision of air navigation services between European and African countries within the framework of the Single European Sky.

For the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA), we have provided consultancy services aimed at the continuous improvement of air safety: support in inspection tasks for the supervision of compliance with operational safety regulations by air navigation service providers.

In the international area, it is worth highlighting our collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), through support to the USOAP (Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme) office, whose objective is to promote global aviation safety through periodic audits of safety oversight systems in all ICAO member states.
